Good food great prices and friendly staff

Seriously amazing. I had a delicious steak tips 'fourth of July' breakfast special and it was so amazing. The prices are very affordable, and the food was consistently good around our table. The waitress and other staff were very friendly. I wish this establishment was in my home town, I'd be there every day!

Great prices, quality food, friendly service. It would've been a 5 Star Rating but we visited during lunchtime and there was only one server. As a result it took 30 minutes to receive our food. Maybe it was just an exception.

Great food and staff!! I see people complaining about the wait time. I would like to know what you would expect from a little home town diner who everyone goes to for breakfast and lunch? Don’t let those reviews steer you away from some tasty home cooked food, it’s worth the wait! I can hear some of these people stomping their feet in their reviews because they had to wait for food. Lol.

Small, cramped, slow service, no ice for drinks but food was ok although portion sizes are small (we got the lobster roll, ff & cole slaw, comes with a sliver of cake)...parking in rear or curbside.

The prices are so good, food is always amazing. John and his crew truly know how to cook a great breakfast.

It's a nice small breakfast and lunch place. They only accept cash but the prices are more than fair!! The owner is the cook. Portions are filling. Just wish they accepted debit cards or had an ATM on site.

Worst service I've had in a while. Had to wait 50 minutes for my food and still wasn't ready when i came to pick it up. Got home food was cold and they had put mushrooms in my omelet which I am deathly allergic too. When I called back it took 4 calls for someone to answer and the man on the other end told me the mistake was my fault and started to yell at my when I was trying to explain i am allergic. My girlfriend also started to puke up all her food shortly after finishing hers. Do yourself a favor and steer clear.

Quaint, small-town diner with a good breakfast menu. Prices are right in line with what you would expect from a small place like this. Three of us had a good breakfast for less than $25 before tip. My daughter enjoyed her blueberry pancakes and bacon. My wife and I liked our omelettes with home fries. The homemade wheat toast was also good.Don't blink, or you'll drive right by it in downtown Mechanic Falls.My only minor criticism is that Kathy's Diner is cash only.
